ABOUT NZCH

The New Zealand Council of Homeopaths (NZCH) is the registration body for professional homeopaths in New Zealand. We maintain a register of members who have been formally educated and clinically trained in homeopathy either in New Zealand or overseas.

To register and remain a member, each homeopath has specific criteria that they must meet annually to ensure ongoing professional development and clinical safety.

All members are expected to practise within the NZCH’s Rules of Practice and Code of Ethics which includes respect for the principles of the Treaty of Waitangi.

The executive team who oversee and administrate the activities of the NZCH are all experienced working homeopaths with a depth of knowledge across a wide range of industries outside of this discipline of holistic healthcare.

Our aim is to ensure support and advocacy for our members in addition to promoting excellence in practice.

We facilitate education and training through our bi-annual conference, provide mentorship for new graduates as they embark on their career and promote the profile of  homeopathy and our homeopaths to the wider public through our media platforms.

In addition to this, the NZCH deals with enquires and complaints from the general public. Robust processes are in place to investigate and support our members should a question arise over their practise or conduct.

The NZCH works closely with other allied health professionals and public stakeholders to promote a deeper understanding of Homeopathy as a comprehensive holistic medicine. Working with the Advertising Standards Authority (ASA) in developing agreed guidelines specific to our industry has been a recent accomplishment of our team.

"A dynamic team of passionate professional homeopaths fostering healthy successful relationships with each other, our clients and the public."

The New Zealand Council of Homeopaths is commited to upholding the principles of the Treaty of Waitangi.
